Llucmajor: autumn fairs

Since September 29, Llucmajor has been celebrating the "Fires 2003". This cycle of autumn fairs, that has been held in this town since 1546, includes a complete programme of cultural and sports activities that will continue until October 19.

The first and second fairs have already taken place, and next Sunday, October 12, there will be the "Darrera Fira" (last fair), the most important of all. This day those attending will be able to visit a large exhibition of motorbikes and old cars, agricultural and industrial machinery and all kind of animals, as well as the art exhibitions organised within the fair programme.

On Monday, October 14, there will be the "Firó", including amongst other activities trotting races as from 3 p.m. And the activities will continue the following weekend, October 17 to 19, with the Llucmarock concert, the "VI Diada Juvenil Llucmajove" and other activities.
