Palma city will host from October 30 to November 3 the
50th
Convention of the Association of British Travel Agents (
ABTA).
The event, sponsored by the Balearic Government, the Mallorcan Council,
and the Cámara de Comercio and Turespaña, will group over
3000 travel agents and tour operators.
The ABTA, founded in 1950 and based in London, groups 800 tour operators
and 6700 travel agency offices, responsible for the sale of some 80% of
UK-sold holidays.
