The theatrical choice
for this Christmas is very varied. Starting with the
Auditorium,
we can find the new production by Diabéticas Aceleradas, "Urgencias",
with an amusing comedy that will be on stage until February 22. Also at
the Auditorium from December 25 to 30 there is the play "Se quieren" by
the company Trasgo Producciones.
At the Palma Municipal Theatre this Christmas you can see "Contes Perversos
d'hivern", a production by the
Fundació
Teatre Principal and
Paco Vicens,
interpreted by the company Adlibitum. The production premiered last December
18 and will continue until January 6. At the new Teatre Xesc Forteza, the
programme for the coming festive season is aimed principally at children.
And so from December 18 to 28 the Memoli brothers are presenting their
children's production with clowns "Una tragèdia grega"; and from
December 30 to January 6, Rafeek Albertoni will present "Alakazan. La llegenda
viva de la màgia", a show with magic and clowns.
The
Teatre del Mar
will also offer a children's production this Christmas: "Mariana i el col·leccionista
de Somnis" by
Teatre
de la Sargantana, that will remain on stage until January 4. And the
Teatre Sans proposes until January 18 "Tot Shakespeare... o no" by the
company Estudi Zero Teatre.
As for the theatres in the other towns on the Island, amongst other
proposals is, "La Taronja mecànica", the new production by Morgana
Teatre, that premiers in the Teatre Sa Societat in
Calvià,
from December 26 to 28. The programme for the
Teatre
de Manacor is also very attractive, with four different shows:
"Cyranos", "Professor Sorpreses", "Star Trip" and "Batu Roig".
