The central event will take place on Friday, May 21, in the Santa Clara convent.
On May 20, 21 and 22, the sixth edition of the Festival de Poesia de la Mediterrània will be held, organised by the Fundació Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga and directed by Biel Mesquida.
The central event of the Festival will take place in the patio of the Santa Clara, en Palma, on Friday, May 21, at 9 p.m. There will also be complementary activities in the UIB, in the bar Sa Font in Palma and in the Cultural Centre Guillem Cifre de Colonya in Pollença.
Fourteen poets from different cultures of the Mare Nostrum area will participate in the meeting: AÏCHA BASSRI and ALAA KHALED in Arab. ALBERT ROIG (accompanied by the musician Krishoo Monthieux), EDUARD ESCOFFET, PERE ANTONI PONS, SUSANNA RAFART and VICENÇ ALTAIÓ in Catalan. CRISTOPHE FIAT in French. ISLA CORREYERO and JOSÉ CARLOS LLOP in Spanish. LELLO VOCE in Italian. MARIA LAINA, in Greek. MAYA BEJERANO in Hebrew. And SVETLANA MAKAROVIC in Slovene.
