Classical Music Festival in Cura and the Pla de Mallorca
Concerts in the churches of seven towns and in the Sanctuari of Cura.
The "XVII Festival Internacional de Música Clàssica de la Mancomunitat del Pla de Mallorca" began last Sunday, July 18, in the Parrish Church of Algaida, with a concert by the Chamber Orchestra of Hamburg. The next concert, by the Chamber Orchestra of Pamplona, will take place on Sunday, July 25, at 6.30 p.m. in the church of Vilafranca.
On August 1, Sunday, at 9 p.m., in the Parrish Church of Llubí, there will be a gospel concert by CODA; and on August 8, Sunday, also at 9 p.m. but in the in the Church of Sencelles, there will be a concert by the National Camber Orchestra of Denmark. The following Sunday, August 22, at 9.30 p.m. in the Church of Ariany, brass music by the Ebony Quintet, and on August 29, at 8.30 p.m. in the church of Sant Joan, by the chamber choir music by "STUDIUM".
On September 8, Wednesday, at 9 p.m.m the Festival will reach the church of Costitx with a concert by the Lyric Orchestra of Mallorca, and finally, on September 19, at 7.30 p.m. in the Cura Sanctuary there will be the last concert, by pianist Ludmil Angelov.
