Concert by Ossifar dedicated to Biel Mesquida

The musician died last year in a motorbike accident.

Five years after their last live performance, the Ossifar music band will give a concert to homage one of the founders of this group: the musician Biel Mesquida, who died last year in a motorbike accident. The concert, sponsored by the Palma Town Council, will be held on Sunday, September 26, at 8.30 p.m. in the Plaça Major in Palma.

Biel Mesquida, together with Lázaro Mendez and Luis Arboledas, founded the Ossifar music band at the end of the 80's. Ossifar published eight records becoming one of the most popular groups on Mallorca, until its dissolution, in 1997. Biel Mesquida was a guitarist, composer and producer, and he worked with Mallorcan artists such as Tomeu Penya and Joan Bibiloni. His latest work as a producer was the record LPZ001 by La Família López.
