International Folk Festival
Performances in Sóller, Deià, Palma, Algaida, Sa Pobla and Muro.
From July 18 to 23, the Soller valley will host the XXV Mostra Internacional Folklòrica, best known as "sa Mostra". This year this prestigious folk festival, founded in 1980 by the group Aires Sollerics will have the participation of the groups Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), Cosacos del Don (Russia), Lola Torres (Jaén), Batwa-Ekondo (Congo), Svetozar Markovic (Serbia), Ko êtî (Paraguay) and Aires Sollerics (Sóller).
On Monday, July 18, at 9.30 p.m, in the Plaça Constitució (where most of the activities will take place) the Festival will open with a performances by of all the participating groups. The programme also includes performances in Sa Pobla and Algaida on Wednesday 20; in Palma on Thursday 21; and in Deià and Fornalutx, on Friday 22.
