Popular culture exhibition

On October 8, 9 and 10 in Sineu.

The first exhibition "Mostra de cultura popular de les Illes Balears", organised by the Department of Education and Culture of the Balearic Government, will take place in Sineu on October 8, 9 and 10. The objective of the exhibition, designed by anthropologist Joan Pons, is promoting material and social aspects of the popular culture from the Balearic Islands. The programme includes musical performances and demonstrations of handicrafts and agricultural works and other exhibitions. There will also be reproductions of a Menorcan archaeological Taula, an Ibizan traditional house and agricultural irrigation system, and a dragon of the Mallorcan traditional stories.
