Exhibitions at the Casal Solleric

Pictures by Joan Planas, paintings by Juan Segura...

The noble floor of the Casal Solleric is housing the anthological exhibition "Fotografia i Turisme a les Balears" that reviews Josep Planas i Montanyà's (Cardona, Catalunya, 1924) professional and creative trajectory. The show, that can be visited until January 22nd, groups some 150 images from his beginnings as a photographer in Palma in 1947, to the present.

More over, in the mezzanine and ground floors of the cultural centre the painting exhibition "Paradís, Caos i Mort" by Juan Segura (Palma, 1956) can be seen. The retrospective exhibition, that can be visited until January 15th, groups the artist's work from 1985 to the present.

Finally, the Espai Quatre, in the basement of the cultural centre, is housing until January 15th the exhibition "MX 05" by Javier Velasco (La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz, 1963). The exhibition includes an installation, figurative paintings, pictures and a video inspired in the artist's recent stay in Mexico.
