Andratx Fair: agricultural and gastronomic fair
Andratx will hold this weekend their spring fair.
The "XXII Fira Agrícola, Ramadera, Artesanal i Industrial" and the "X Jornades Gastronòmiques d'Andratx" will start on Saturday, April 1 in the afternoon, and will last until Sunday 2 with a whole series of festive proposals that include exhibitions of antique tools, animals of all kinds, bonsais, demonstrations, competitions and musical performances, to be held in and around the Son Mas Castle, the Town Hall.
Amongst others, we point out the parade of antique carriages that will take place on Saturday at 3.30 p.m. Worth special mention also is the tree trunk cutting competition, the horse exhibition and the performance by the local folk group Aires d'Andratx that will be held on Sunday morning.
In regards to the "Jornades Gastronòmiques", there will be a dinner on Saturday night and a lunch on Sunday, served by serveral restaurants, bakeries, wine cellars and other establishments of the municipality.
