International Biannual Ceramics Contest from Marratxí
Organised to promote the ceramics activity of the Municipality.
The Marratxí Town Councils has announced the first Biennal Internacional de Ceràmica de Marratxí. The objective of the contest is to promote ceramics activity and the name of Marratxí as a ceramist municipality. The origin of this contest is the Ceramics Competition that has been held the last years within the Potteri Fair of Marratxí, that this years is taking place from March 3 to 12, in the facilities of Ses Tres Germanes.
Registration is open until March 9 and the selected works must be delivered before April 28. The price giving will take place on May 26, coinciding with the opening of the Contest exhibition at the Museu del Fang de Marratxí. There will be two prizes: a Balearic Prize of 6,000 euros and a Marratxí prize of 4,000 euros.
