International Cyclotourist Tour of Mallorca

Non-competitive race open to all cyclists over the age of 15.

From April 13 to 16, coinciding with the Holly Week, the IV International Cyclotourist Tour of Mallorca will take place. This is a Non-competitive race open to all cyclists over the age of 15. The circuit of the race will be similar to the one of the Challenge Illes Balears - Tour Mallorca, that was held last January.

The race, authorised by the Balearic Cycling Federation, is part of the "Challenge de Cicloturismo Illes Balears" and the "Circuito de España de Marchas Cicloturistas por Etapas".

According to the report "Tourism in the Balearic Islands", carried out by the Department of Tourism of the Balearic Government, in 2005 the Balearic Islands received 81,200 cyclotourists, amount that represents the 0,7% of the total of tourists.
