Regatta Breitling Illes Balears
Over 20 ships will compete in the TP 52 class.
The 12th Regata Breitling Illes Balears will be held in the Bay of Palma between July 19 and 23. This year the most important novelty is that all the participating ships belong to the TP 52 class in which all of its boats will sail in real time, that is without ratings
Among the 21 registered participants, from eleven countries, are King Juan Carlos of Spain at the wheel of the Bribón and King Harald of Norway at the wheel of the Ham.
The regatta is organised by the Club de Regatas Puerto Portals, with the collaboration of the Real Federación Española de Vela (RFEV), the Federació Balear de Vela (FBV) and the TP 52 Med Fleet Association and the sponsorship of Cronomar (Breitling watches). The Govern de les Illes Balears and the Ajuntament de Calvià are also collaborating in the event.
