Some 50.000 people demand the protection of the territory.

Thousands of people of all ages demonstrated on Saturday through the streets of the centre of Palma in defence of the territory and environment. The Demo, called by the GOB and the Salvem Mallorca platform, had a historic participation that some calculate at 50.000 people, over the demo held on February 24, 2004, with the the slogan "Qui estima Mallorca no la destrueix" (Whoever loves Mallorca does not destroy her) .
