Galleries and cultural centrers open until midnight.
The 13th edition of the Palma "Nit de l'Art" will be held on Thursday, September 17th, with the participation of some thirty art galleries, cultural centres and museums, that will be open especially until midnight.
The Palma art galleries that participate in the event are ABA, Altair, Ferran Cano, Fran Reus, Joan Guaita, Horrach Moyà, Kewenig, Maior, Pelaires, C.C.C. Pelaires, Xavier Fiol, La Caja Blanca, Gabriel Vanrell, Joan Oliver "Maneu", Joan Oliver "Maneu" Nou Espai, Joanna Kunstmann, SKL and Centre d'Art la Real.
More over in the ground floor hall of the Misericòrdia there will be seven galleries from outside Palma and one from Menorca. These are Addaya from Alaró, Bennassar from Pollença, Marimón from Can Picafort, Matisos from Colònia de Sant Jordi, Miquela Nicolau from Felanitx, Can Janer from Inca, CCA Andratx and Artara from Maó.
As for cultural centres and museums, the participating spaces are Casal Solleric, Ses Voltes, Centre de Cultura Sa Nostra, Es Baluard, Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró, Espai Ramon Llull and Capella de la Misericòrdia.
As well as the spaces included in the official programme, the following galleries will also open exhibitions tomorrow coinciding with the "Nit de l'Art": Berlin, Carlos Roldós, El Temple and Mar Gaita. CaixaForum also takes part, with a concert by Euclydes Mattos Trio in Plaça de Weyler.
The organisers of the Palma art night are the Associació Independent de Galeries d'Art de Balears (AIGAB) and Art Palma Contemporani Associació de Galeristes, with support by the Palma Town Council, Govern de les Illes Balears and Consell de Mallorca.
