The Music Band of Llucmajor has organised a new edition of "Concerts
de Santa Cecília". The first concert, by the "Percussí o
no" ensemble, will take place in the Cafè Colon on Friday, November
14, at 9.30 p.m. The programme will continue on Sunday 23 at 8 p.m. in
the Casal de Joves de Llucmajor, with a special concert dedicated to advertising
songs by the same music band. The following concert, by the students of
the Escola de Música de la Banda and the Banda Juvenil, will take
place in the Church of the Convent de Sant Bonaventura in Llucmajor, on
Saturday 29 at 8 p.m. And finally, a metal quintet formed by members of
the local music band will give the last concert, on December 5, at 9.30
p.m., in the Cafè Colón.
The concerts are free, sponsored by the Llucmajor Town Council, the
Mallorcan Council and the Fundació Sa Nostra.
