The exhibition "Retrats dels nins de l'èxode", unites
90 portraits by the Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado, will
be held at the Sala Grande of the "
Sa
Nostra" Cultural Centre in Palma until June 30.
Sebastião
Salgado (Aimores - Brazil, 1944) is a internationally renown photographer
included in the movement known as compromising photography. "Exodus" and
"Portraits of Children in Migration", are photographs taken over four
and a half years in 41 countries. These are Salgado's most recent works
reflect his concern for the millions of refugees, migrants and dispossessed.
