The "Mostra de Cuina Mallorquina" (Mallorcan Food Fair ), the most important and popular gastronomic activity of all those held in the Balearics, is takes place every year in the spring, in the Palma Arena.

Over 10 days, several restaurants, cooking schools, wine cellar and pastry makers, amongst other collaborators, serve the thousands of people who usually attend the Fair to tickle their palates with new and traditional dishes of the island's gastronomy. The Fair includes a "Show cooking", where several cookers prepare Mallorcan traditional dishes.

The Fair is organised by the Associació Empresarial de Restauració de Mallorca with support by the Mallorca Insular Council, the Balearic Government, the Palma Town Council, the Chamber of Commerce and several companies.

Visiting times are from 12:30 to 16:00 h and 19:00 to 23:00 h and the price of the entrance ticket usually includes some drinks, bread, olives, coffee, ice cream and others.
