The emblematic five star Hotel Meliá de Mar, in Illetes (Calvià), has just started their Annual Gastronomic Cycle aimed at promoting
the New Mallorcan Cooking amongst its guests and neighbours of the area. The days, that coincide with the four seasons, start
with Spring, followed by specialities of Summer, Autumn and Winter respectively.
The coordinators of this initiative are the well known Andratx gastronome, Margalida Alemany, and the Chef of the hotel, Hans J.
Schicht.
At present, Sol Meliá has 21 hotels in Mallorca in Alcúdia, Cala d'Or, Cales de Mallorca, Illetes, Magaluf, Palma, Palma Nova and
Playa de Palma.
